CAPITAL ENGINEERING
We were introduced to Capital Engineering by a real estate agent who knew that we could help him move the client into their new space within a tight timeline. Once we met with the client and the lease was signed we brought in the designer and they created the floor plan for the new space. Once the floor plan was approved they sent the project out for tender and awarded the construction portion of the project to the general contractor. We acted as the liaison between the designer, the general contractor and three different furniture dealers who were all involved in this 20,000 square foot project.
As we had only ten weeks to complete this project, from demolition to move in we had regular meetings with all parties involved to ensure that everybody coordinated their portion of the project. We are pleased to say that the client was able to move in on the date required and thereby be fully operational over the period of just one weekend and, by moving out of their previous location on time they were able to back-fill their old space with a new tenant; all of this to the satisfaction of our client, the real estate agent and the landlord.
This project included over 1000 linear feet of architectural walls which helped speed up the overall project as they can be installed quicker than drywall and, in the future, should the company expand they can be rearranged to accommodate more people or even moved to another location if required.
We would like to thank the designer, the general contractor and all three of the furniture dealers who worked so diligently to help us ensure that this project was completed accurately and on time.
